Who sells it the cheapest and has the cheapest shipping charge here in the US?

The Waterman site listed over a dosen retailers but most of those only sld the pens and not the ink.

I wanted to order but wanted to know if anyone got any good deals on the cost and on the shipping.

Well, I usually order from Pendemonium or Bertram's Inkwell. Sam has it for $8/bottle and Bertram's has it for $8.50/bottle. I wasn't able to get the shipping cost for you though. Both of them give great customer service, so you'll have your bottle(s) in no time!!

Hope this helps,
Dorothy

There is a small local stationary store near me that does not carry ink, but will special-order Waterman ink for me. I just picked up 5 bottles from them this afternoon at $6.50 a bottle. Sales tax is on top of that, but still a great deal.

I also like the feeling of supporting the small, local guy.

A couple of other places with reasonable prices and great service are Swisher and Pen City

Also, the Aurora Blue & Namiki are also listed below mfr price as well.

Hope this help. smile.gif

If anyone lives near a Marshall Fields store, they are closing all their Waterman ink out at $4.00 a bottle. I just stocked up on Florida Blue, Blue-Black, and Purple.

I've always gotten great prices and service from Pam at www.oscarbraunpens.com (usual disclaimer).

Isn't there anybody near enough to you that you could buy face to face and save the shipping? I have seen it for $6 or less in office supply stores. Waterman is one of the more common inks I have seen outside of specialty pen shops.

You're lucky--there's very little of anything around here--and all the specialty pen and stationery shops have closed within the lst 10 years. The best I was able to do for Waterman was a pack of Florida Blue cartridges at Staples last summer. I'm hoping the local art supply store--who has Sheaffer cartridges--gets in some bottled Pelikan again.

The big office supply stores arround here are Office Depot, Office Max and Staples. I checked them all and they only have cartridges. There are a few fine writing shops but I haven't found one that has Waterman yet. It's not like I live in the boonies. I live in Miami. I just don't know where the speciality shops are. I checked in the yellow pages and found two shops close to me. One doesn't sell Waterman and the other just moved and I am still trying to track it down.
