Anyone heard of this brand of notebook? Apparently it is a refillable notebook that allows you to mix and match different types of refills. So you can have your journal, address book, and calendar all in one convenient sized notebook. I'm interested to know if anyone has any experience with them?

Haven't used those, but they sure do look intriquing. Please! Somebody in UK buy one, try it out, and report on it, so we poor people in NA don't have to pay more for shipping than for the notebook.

These look great - I want one now. A search online suggests they are only available in the UK. Come on our British buddies - get a review online asap. We need to know is the paper FP friendly.

I note the web site suggests that there is minimum show through "similar to Moleskin". If the paper is similar to Moleskin then its garbage. To suggest that paper similar to Moleskin is good for FP use shows a clear lack of appreciation for the needs of fountain pen users so I would question their judgement.

I'd like to put one of those through the paces as well. Would be nice to insert pages along the way or remove some for storage or later use. Great idea. Hope it gets across the pond soon.

I have been looking at these for a while and will probably get one in the next week or so. I will post an update with a mini review if I do.
In the meantime, I have emailed The Journal Shop and asked about the paper quality. I have purchased Ciak and Cartesio notebooks from them in the past and been pleased with the quality of the paper, so I have asked how it compares. I will let you know, once I receive a reply.

I eamiled The Journal Shop and received a prompt and refreshingly honest reply. They said that the paper is similar to Moleskin and not very FP friendly. It does bleed a little and there is show through. What a shame - these looked very interesting.
I strongly acknowldedge the great service from The Journal Shop and thank them for saving me some money. I am now looking to buy a few other products from them and will order with confidence.

I received the same same reply from The Journal Shop as inkypete.
They also sent me a few sheets of the C.OVER paper to try and I have to say I am not impressed. It feathers a lot and the show through is terrible. It is actually a lot worse than in the last couple of Moleskine notebooks that I had.
So, unfortunately, whilst I would say that the notebooks themselves look to be a great concept, they are let down badly by the poor quality of the paper.
Full marks to The Journal Shop (no affiliation) for their excellent service.
