Well i have finally found the pen i've been searching for.The colour is not the classic brown i wanted but classic green is just as attractive.
It is a Duro in classic green with a button filler. It will be my first Conway and button filler both.Should be fun.And i hope to have the pen by this weekends Portland Pen show.It blew my budget for the show but i had to act quickly. It is also an XF italic.
I hope to post pics later next week.

Lucky guy! Just saw that on the green board... looks like a great pen! And the .4mm italic looks sweet! Should give you just enough line variation on an XF line to be interesting! I'm sure this will hold you over until your Omas comes home from Italy!

Hope you like your Duro, as I said in another topic, if I had to choose a nib again I'd go for XF (don't think the italics work for this leftie). I just love my Duro.

Indeed it looks nice.I know the XF will be perfect as most of my pens are F or XF.ANd that it is italic is a bonus.Couldn't pass up that price either.

I miss my Arco already.Hopefully it is actually in Italy now.

Great Pic Handlebar!

I just rec'd my Sterling Duro (color honey) yesterday. I can't believe how nice this pen writes for me and plus I love the color.
The Yellow and Black "POP" off the pen.

Great all around pen.

Sincerely,
Classics

Jim, good on ya! I remember reading a long time back where you were tempting us with some trade offers for a CS. It's really a nice sized pen and I've seen the coloration you've described: you won't be disappointed! A very classy lookin' color.

Looking forward to reading a "proud new owner" review.

My best,

Paul
