I'm starting to snoop around for a full size Waterman 52 in BCHR to accompany my faithful 52V.

The 52V is a marvelous pen, easily my favourite, and my first. However, ever since I purchased a pen with a clip (Parker Vacumatic), I've really been yearning for a 52 with the famous clip cap.

I'm not necessarily looking for a 52 with a huge GF cap band, but I did see one go on eBay for $75 (absolute beauty). A clip cap is absolutely necessary. I would prefer that the metal furniture (lever box, cap band if one is present, and clip) have very little to no oxidisation or tarnish. Nib in good condition (this will be a user, definitely), however, if it comes down to it, I could use the nib from my 52V (basically looking to replace the pen in my rotation). Chasing should be present, with at least some tint of black left. BCHR is preferable, with BHR in second, and RRHR and RMHR after that (only because black can be had for cheaper and usually looks better). No cracks, gouges, etc... Preferably in unrestored condition, as I like to use pens that I have restored myself.

Looking to spend $35-$60. Saw a RRHR 52 with a gold cap band and clip go for $33.32 (my bid was $32.32, but I wasn't available at the end of the auction D: ), but to be fair the HR was faded and discoloured a bit. If it's a really nice pen (i.e. gold furniture, deep chasing, no tarnish) I would definitely consider bumping up my budget.

Post here or PM we with possible solutions to my need.

Thanks,
