I came across this website on one of my random Google searches--I know some people have been looking for a place to buy Noodler's Taiwan Inks. This seller (no affiliation, never purchased anything from him/her) appears to ship to the US (use Google Translator to translate the page).

Apparently, the third ink is coming out soon--it was translated as the sea goddess Matsu. It's a bright red that "resists bleach, UV light, detergents, forgers, water, solvents, sun/rain/etc...." Sounds bulletproof or near-bulletproof!

Also found an auction of the first Taiwan Noodler's ink (translated as "Black Ditch"):

And an auction of the second Taiwan Noodler's ink (says "Fort Zeelandia" on the label, comically translated as "hot blue cover city." laugh.gif

"Pennote" appears to be the seller--he has his other inks for sale (the rest of them are Noodler's inks that are available in the US) at the "all the goods (31)" link on the right side.

Just thought some of you might be interested! smile.gif If you purchase any of these inks, please do a review and post it!

Interesting that Legal Lapis is among the colors. I guess Pendemonium's "exclusive" is U.S.-only? unsure.gif

I would really, really like to get my hands on a bottle of the "Fort Zeelandia". Any ideas how to get one? I'm a bit hesitant about joining a Chinese auctionsite... wink.gif

I don't have much additional information for you, but I found someone's account on Flickr who has several photos of Black Strait (not Black Ditch, as it was translated biggrin.gif ) and Fort Zeelandia, as well as comments/mini-reviews. Maybe if you comment and ask where she got them, she might be able to point you in the right direction?

Good luck! Be sure to let us know if you find a supplier! smile.gif

That's awesome. Too bad they are $67 a piece!

How is that? The Taiwan dollar (yuan in Chinese) is about three cents ($.03).

The Taiwan exclusive ink sells for NT$630 which is about $20.77 US dollar. Last time I order, I paid about $29 for express shipping (4 bottles).

Fort Zeelandia is in Tainan city which is where I studied. It's so nice to see this exclusive ink from Noodler.

Do not confuse Taiwan dollars with Chinese renminbi (and don't confuse Taiwan with China in general). The site calls its currency "yuan 元" only because "yuan" in Mandarin means a unit of currency in general. United States dollars are also called "yuan."
