A quick hello from The Netherlands. My name is Stella and I always used to write with fountain pens all the way through school etc.
A few months ago A Faber-Castell got my interest and since then I've been collecting all kinds of fountain pens...just couldn't stop!!
My favorite now is my Pelikan 405. But who knows for how long ;-)
Thank you all for this forum and all the nice info on it. I hope I'm able contribute a little bit... blush.gif

I'm about get a 405 soon from a fellow FPNer so I see the attraction. I won't be surprised if you find new favorites after perusing all the sub-forums here. Enjoy.

Hi there Stella and pleased to meet you. I love your name (too) Stella and, no I don't say that to all new friends. Stella and Astrid are very similar (as regarding the "meaning" of those names).
But to get back to the subject, I see you have a 405. I have only a 215 and an 800 but am already working on a 320 and a 450.

Yes, this is a great forum.

All the best thumbup.gif
