Here's a quick review of Diamine Amaranth.

Hah! Funny...I had written up (but not scanned) a mini-review of Amaranth with a line of Arabian Rose, too. The two colors are very, very close. Your pair looks more similar than mine. To me, Amaranth looks like Arabian Rose with the blue-tint removed.

I hadn't used my Arabian Rose until I got a letter from Roger and that was the ink he'd used. It immediately got me thinking how similar it is to the Amaranth. I think you've summed it up nicely, the Arabian Rose is like the Amaranth with a tinge more blue in it.
