Well, here it is: my first review. Apologies for the meandering thoughts and the abhorrent handwriting! I tried my darndest, but this was the closest I could get to accurate color reproduction. At least the ink is fairly correct, if not the paper. glare.gif How does everyone else get it to look so good? hmm1.gif

As always, no connection to the store, just a satisfied customer.

Great color. I'm curious to what you or others think this color most compares to in the more widely available ink brands.

Well, based on this page, I'd say the Forest Green is about midway between Caran d'Ache Amazon and Diamine Woodland Green. It's really quite close to the Amazon, just a little less yellow when compared side by side. Unfortunately, I don't have much experience in the green spectrum, so I can't really be much help.

I was going to say diamine woodland green too - I have a bottle and that is almost exactly the colour i get from it.

Perhaps intruding on the Forest Green review, just want to make an additional push for Papier Plume (papierplume.com) to say that I use their Violet as my exclusive purple. There are color samples on the web site, though on my computer the Violet looks a bit paler than it dries in my white page notebook.

Thanks falika, I didn't realize that Papier Plume had products available online. I'm all for supporting the small business whenever possible.
