This is a very sad day for not only Eagle's family and friends, but the pen crafting comunity as a whole.

Eagle died today, well yesterday, July 4th from a brain aneurysm. I just saw the post over at IAP and I was shocked! I have talked to Eagle for many hours on the phone before and he was an amazing guy. He will be greatly missed by many turners and friends.

I would say that he was best known by this masterpiece made entirely from wood.

I'm sorry to hear that, and condolences to his widow, family, and friends. My first husband died suddenly of an aneurysm, so I've been there.
