its clearly legible which is good.
you may want to have a look at your q though, as the last word, which i assume to be quink, looks like guink.
i cant really tell because the page is skewed, but it looks as though maybe your writings not all on the same angle... spacing looks pretty good though smile.gif

I redid the sample to straighten it and make it easier to tell angles and what not.

Very easy to read. I put a high prize on legibility. No matter how beautiful someone's handwriting is, if it's a struggle to read it may get a quick once-over rather than a thorough read simply because of time constraints. So three cheers for legibility!!! clap1.gif

I think your handwriting looks nice, too. It has character and personality. Just be careful of your lower case "d" - it could be mistaken for "cl" in the word "handwriting." Of course, in this case the context makes it clear. Also be sure to close lower case "o" so that the reader doesn't wonder if it's a rounded "u."

A great effort! Clear, legible, flows well. The writing style is American standard, I take it? Are you planning on studying / practicing Italic? Or Spencerian? Or another style of writing? The fountain pen network has many examples of many different schools of hand-writing, enjoy yourself.

Best of luck,
Randal

My hands are far too shaky for spencerian but i would definatly like to expand my horizons. Any suggestions as to where i can see examplesand study forms?

Your handwriting is very nice and legible. My only question is, "Sheaffer Black Quink?"

No problem, you don't need to apologize. I was just wondering if I missed a Sheaffer-Parker merger.
