Hi,
I recently purchase a 1022 classic black laque targa from canada.
The nib is stamped CDN.
Did Sheaffer Canada make the nibs or were they produce at fort madison and stamped for their intended destination.

They must have been made at Fort Madison. As far as I can tell, all of the inlaid nibs were made at Fort Madison because they required specialized machinery. The Australian Targas don't have nib stamps, though, so the CDN stamp is a bit curious.

My collection includes 89 nibs with USA markings, 1 with a CDN marking, four marked AUST, which would leave 29 with no country marking at all. No UK and no FR marks.
