I am a left handed writer, primarily an underwriter, and I want to improve my handwriting, but I have no idea how to go about it.
Does anyone have any suggestions? The pen I use most (and my only fountain pen) is parker 45 with a medium nib.

Example of my handwriting is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/elpelcogecko/2625143786/
(apologies it's not a full page, I will add more)

I'm a left handed overwriter. Over the last couple of years, I've considerably improved my handwriting. In general, my method was:

1. Look for examples of handwriting I admired, and try to incorporate elements of those styles into my handwriting.

2. Practice, practice, practice, focusing on such things as consistency, size, shape, slant, word separation, and letter separation.

In #1, I don't mean to suggest that you should try to precisely duplicate someone else's style. You should develop or refine your own style, but incorporate elements that you admire.

#2 above is a whole subject in itself, of course. You will find a considerable difference of opinion as to such matters as when to practice, choosing the right pen and paper, worthwhile writing exercises, etc. What works for someone else, may or may not work for you, depending on such things as your physical circumstances and how deeply engrained your writing habits are. Members of FPN will undoubtedly provide you with a lot of well considered advice as to what has worked for them. Inevitably, however, you'll need to engage in a certain amount of trial and error to determine what works best for you.
