Can youy please help me identifing a P51 cap?
The cap says Parker near the Lip and it says R Silver in the oposit side of the lip.
The clip is a golden one ( i thikn it is a short arrow clip Like in the first vacumatics. The jewel is Black.
This are the fotos. Sorry for the bad quality of them.
The padron of the line cap are 5 non paralel lines and them a space fallowed by another 5 non paralel lines araoud the cap ||||| ||||| (Near the lip this lines seam to be paralel).
I think this clip and jewel are not correct . I do not know of any black jewel that came from origin. And in the top of the cap where the clip fits it seems to have a horizontal mark all arroud the top cap that seams to indicat a past presence of a clip whith a larger diameter.
In the barrel ( dove grey) it says “Parker 51”
REG. T.M.640244
MADE IN ENGLAND
The pen is vacumatic whith black plastic Plunger.
My questions are
Is this cap rare? Is it all silver, and what does the R stands for?
Is the clip and jewel wrigth for the rest of the pen?
Sorry for my english, but i tis not my native language.
Kind regards
