Ever since I started using FPs (about 7 months now), I noticed that periodically there is some ink drops on the nib. Is this normal and what causes it?

Search for "nib creep" on the forum and you'll find lots of answers to your question wink.gif

If you handle the pen a bit roughly, like putting it down on a desk so it clatters, a few droplets of ink can bounce out of the breather and end up on the top of the nib.

You can also get ink on top of the nib if it touches the inside of the cap (which is inky after you clattered the pen). biggrin.gif
