Congratulations Paul and thanks for the pics.
The pen's blue looks quite spectacular. Do you know what CS's name for it?
I'd be interested to know the length posted and barrel girth, and what kind of filling mech?
Regards,
J

Thanks! I feel so "unworthy" posting any picts when compared to the quality others submit. Anyway, let's see, approx. 5 inches (12.3 cm) posted; about 4 inches (10 cm) in closed position; slightly less than 1/4 inch (1 cm) at its widest point. I believe the color to be "Ocean Blue." It is a "standard type" cartridge filler.
Was in the Ft. Madison area a couple weeks ago. Per Sam, there's talk that they're going to discontine the "Dinkie" line. Just a neat lil' carrier.

Nice pen Paul. It's certainly larger than the vintage CS Dinkies.
Actually about the same size as the vintage CS550 dinkie which is 10.2cm capped.

Thanks so much for the review and the photos Paul!
I have a vintage CS "Dinkie" pen and it's a lot of fun to use, with its itty-bitty flexy nib
