Been shooting a big pile o' pens tonight.

I'm not much into Targas, though they are nice pens. And occasionally some cross my desk.

This pic appealed to me. A thin Targa (most i see are chunkier) with raised gold-ish lines over black.

So, figured i'd post an image.

I love Targas. They are incredible writers and I love the feel. That's a beautiful pen. I just bought my first thin Targa and I can't wait to get it.

Hi,

That's a Regency Stripe slim model - number 675s, I believe. I always thought the striped pattern was well suited to the Targa.

(Vertical stripes are always slimming, anyway.)

Cheers,

Jon

Appreciate the info. I know little regarding model/pattern names for these.

That is a Targa in a smart suit.

Thanks for sharing the photo.

Hey, I have one of those! Too skinny for me though, wish it was chunkier.

David-

I think it's actually gold with raised black lines. Seems to me Sheaffer made these by lacquering the entire pen black and then engraving in to reveal the gold (brass?) underneath. Almost a Maki-e technique.

Had a stainless steel Targa that was given to me. I tried it but didn't like it;too thin for my hand. Sold it on fleabay
for a small amount of pocket change...........

That's correct.
