Just given I want a more "every day" sort of pen now, I have been seriously looking at the M800 (along with the 600, though for some reason my original inclinations are being shifted towards the 800). But I guess, when I think M1000, I truly think "grand" -- definitely something I'd like to own in the future.
The writing sample will be welcome, and as a note, I think many of us will find a standard attempt at handwriting has a sort of liveliness unique to it, which is charming in a different way from, say, perfect cursive penmanship.
I'm a mere university student, so obviously with modest experience doing any sort of fine writing, but as it is, for everyday writing, I've been experimenting with someone's advice to left italicize my writing to an extent, and it seems to do great things keeping it under control. This is more standard writing, not by any means cursive, which I think looks better written traditionally. The left italics seems to allow me to control rapid strokes made with the especially smooth pens.
Again, thanks for the sample offer. Now I think of it, I would be interested to see the 1000 compared with almost any of the others (2xx, ..., 8xx), that is in terms of writing.

I do not own an M800, thats going to be my next one. I have been looking to buy an M800 in the blue black pattern.
I will see if I can post a writting sample tonight. I will warn you though, my handwritting is nothing to be too proud of.
