Hi,
I recently bought a FP/MP Japanese pen which has a fluted glass tip instead of a nib. It has a sac that you fill like for example a sheaffer balance. It's called a "ReadyRite."
Are these common? I mean a glass tipped fountain pen with a sac? It writes very well. The tip is the fluted kind you often see sold as glass fountain pens.

Hi,

I believe Platinum used to make them for Spors.

I'm not sure about you pen, but pictures are always nice. smile.gif

I agree... I'm presently without my computer so when I get it back I'll take a pic and send it on.
I thought some one might know some general info about them, why they were used and so forth.
