I am looking to buy some vintage MBs, and I have been doing some research, but there are so many vintage models and I am still not 100% on What they pens I am looking for are...
I think they are Meistersucks...
Here is one on ebay...

Montblanc 35

Then this is a Stylo, but I really like the top of the cap...

Montblanc Stylo

Any help would be great, I dont know how comfortable with buying pens that I am not familiar with from ebay... Plus my luck lately with vintage pens of the bay has not been very good...
Cheers!

First let me say the seller of those two items is a great seller, bought a couple off him myself. Next, WOW! That 35 is a beaut! That is definitely one that is on my to-get list should I ever get to the point of buying pens for that much money unsure.gif Looking at the pics however, it looks like the nib might need a little help, Greg Minuskin would be the man for that job, did a wonderful job on my 136.

PS. Yes, those are indeed masterpieces.

Yes, but it's nothing to worry about, it should be easiliy done.

Sure, this #35 is a nice and very rare real "Meisterstück" push-knob-filler (German, not Danish production) and due to the nib probably from 1929/1930. This pen came without a clip.
(Similar and same looking Danish Montblancs #35 had "Masterpiece" engraved on the cap and were made in Danmark between 1934 and 1947.)
The clip on this pen belong to a Danish Montblanc from later production after 1934 but as I said Danish Montblancs didn't have "Meisterstück" engraved.

There is only one negative thing: the cap top is quite polished. For a pen with this price IMHO the cap top should be as crisp as on the stylo.

Best regards,
Axel

Forget the MB (kidding), he's got an Aurora Etiopia for sale.

Here's the Stylophiles article about the pen.

One of your best bets for vintage Montblanc is Gary Lehrer at GoPens.com.

Bryant-

try penboard.de . There are four very respected sellers there. Tom Westerich, Max Schrage, Lutx Fiebig, und Norbert Otto.

I will check this out as well. I have been there a few times, but it seemed like most of the pens listed were sold...

Hello B.

Yes it is true that some pens are sold very quick. If you are looking for a special pen, you can ask by mail. Not all the pens are listed because they become sold without offering on penboard.de. For example; at the penshows around Europe and we have nearly every 6 weeks a penshow inside Europe.

kind regards

Max
