no problem, i enjoy helping people see how well engineered Parker pens are. As far a the nib goes, I'm 99% sure it's 14k.
Actually, I have never inked my 180 as its NOS, and I just can't bring myself to do that. I know there are many NOS 180s being sold every day, but it would bug me to ink it.
I might sell mine to buy a user grade version, but I can't find a user grade 180 that's less expensive than what i paid for my NOS piece. They seem to hover right around $60 to $80 NOS or not.
NOS? What does that mean?
Might I add, the 180 is a very interesting looking pen! I am thinking of bidding on a aeromatic filler 180 (I thought they were all C/C fillers). I say thinking because there are a few other pen auctions I am looking at and I only have a limited bank balance!
