Do you know what is PARKER RAVEN ?
Is it another name to a simple black duofold ?
If not then what is the different between it and the black Duofold ?
Is it make of BHR ?
Are they expensive ?
tbfalsename
All the pens I've seen listed as Ravens, which isn't many, had flexible or semi-flex nibs. Other than that I think they were all pretty much the same as a Duofold Sr.

Raven is catalogued around 1929.

It is not a Duofold.

It is of different size, trim and imprint.

Think of it as a Black True Blue

Some consider it one of the first of the nebulously (and restrospectively) named "Parker Thrift Time" pens.

Prices vary, but generally not too expensive.

I have interest in acquiring a Raven someday... but need to do more research on them. However, from the photo you posted, it would seem that the one being sold here is not a Raven and is mismarked:

Yes? No?

The Raven does not have a barrel model imprint (in common with most streamline era pens lumped in retrospect by collectors into the garbage-can category "thrift time pen") and gets its name from catalogue appearance. The pen you link to likely just preceded it- the last of the flat-top Lucky Curve pens. It is not- formally- a Raven, but likely occupied a similar niche.

This pen is exactly the pen I was looking at and the reason I started this topic.
As for now I am the only bidder and if I will win this auction I will post my impression of the pen.
