I am in the process of getting a carpenter to design me my first pen case and I am so excited about it smile.gif

I have actually gotten some pretty nice ideas from members' posts around here, as to the type of wood/color/design etc but I was thinking..

Most pen cases are shelved to house as many pens as possible, and some of them have a glass top to allow someone to see through them.. but has anyone ever thought of making the bottom section/shelf of the pen case in such a way that it would house a few ink bottles as well?

I thought it would be nice to have a few rows of pens and then a bigger section that opens up and its more like a drawer that you can put a few ink bottles in.. what do you guys think?

Pravda,

I think it's a great idea. I converted a jewelry box into a pen case, and the bottom drawer is taller than the rest, but ink bottles only fit if they lay on their sides, so I put them in ziplocs prior to turning them over. A custom made would be nice, but beyond my budget.
