Hello All!

This was my first solo attempt at fixing a 51 vac, and I think it went very well.

Imprint is very readable. Date code of 7 w/ three dots.

The scans don't do it justice. Clean, smooth blue, with just a little sign of wear left. Good cap, with no dings and just a little marking from the clip.

A fresh diaphragm that functions smoothly. A full-bodied fine nib that is a bit on the dry side.

It looks like a demi to me, fwiw.

It's a standard.

If you follow this link and scroll down to the scan of the three pens, you will find the brown standard in the middle. This pen is the same size as that one.

I just had a scare where I thought I had lost a similar pen. yikes.gifcrybaby.gif (The doctor's office is holding it for me.) So, I think I need an emergency back-up model. PM sent.
