I'm away from home, so I will let those with samples chime in.

But I wanted to add, the demi is PERFECT if you clip your pen to a shirt pocket. They fit just right, that smaller 1/2" or so really makes a difference. I am using my two demis more and more for that reason.

Diameter depends if it is a Vac or Aerometric. The Vacs are the same diameter as the full-size version but shorter. I believe the Aerometrics are a little smaller in diameter.

By a random grab in my box of Parkers:

Demi: 5 1/8" capped, Standard 5 7/16" capped. Note that capped length varies a bit as not all the inner caps are exactly the same length, and the hoods are NOT identical diameter by now -- they tend to wear and "shrink" some, allowing the cap to sit lower.

Demi is 4 5/8" uncapped, Standard is 5". Note again there is some variation. You won't mistake one for the other, though

The Standard is 7/16" by ruler at the clutch ring, the Demi is 3/8".

All measurements by eye with a wooden ruler, may not be perfectly accurate!
