Hello All!

http://www.bertramsinkwell.com/catalog_i28...tml?catId=12615

When did Bertram's come up with this? I just saw it for the first time today and really like it. Possible enough to forgo the Kullocks that I'm eyeballing right now. But, of course, I see it too late. It's already sold out.

I just thought I'd share/rant and see if this one was a sleeper or if it was widely known and I just live with my head under a rock.

Nice looking pen. I have not owned a Delta but have kicked myself for not having bought a a Collessum Demo 10 years ago. I passed because I did not like the black ink sac that they came with.

The one pen that has eluded me for years is the Delta Pompeii. IMHO the finest looking red pen ever made.

Got some Deltas - not my absolute favorites, but wouldn't say no to a bargain either...

I never look at Bertram's because they don't carry Stipula, but that's not an item you can add to the cart, so that implies they're sold out at least temporarily.

I remember this one. Bertram's had this made for them maybe three or four years ago. Same red resin as the Delta Caeser LE. Heavy on the gold trim, which was a bit of a turn off for me. It was a big, chunky pen, though, with a nice form. Used the bigger Delta nib. Cartridge/converter filled. I believe these are long sold out, though. I was at Bertram's last month and I sure didn't see one there!

Around the same time Delta did a really nice edition for FPH, the Sorrento. I ended up with one of those. Like the Gladiator, it was reddish in color, but a more marbled resin with hints of grey and green. Torpedo shape, and also heavy on the trim. But not as much so as the Gladiator. Interesting column form clip. Mine's an OM and a beautiful writer.

Yeah, they're great writers. I've got five fp's and they're all great (3 B's, 1 M, and 1 OM)! I'm always interested in more (especially Indigenous People).
