I have collected Pelikan tortoise series for a long time. Recently I received one from a seller.
My friends challenge me with the nib is not orginal,I agree with him from my knowledge.
But I have many deals with this seller,maybe this pen is some edition I don't know,so I need your comments on this 400NN.

Full Version: Help-400NN tortoise nibs question
It looks like a newer nib from the bird logo. I tried to take some photos of mine but can't get a good nib shot this morning.
The Pelikan logo on all my 400NN nibs have a hump (or tail) on the back of the bird that rises almost to the head. The letters OBB are a little larger and the circle itself is also larger, stretching almost to the breather hole. Hope that helps, and I'll try to get a picture today with some better lighting.

So here are a couple of my lousy pics, I apologize for the lighting but I hope you get the idea about the logo changes.
Also the lettering for the OBB should be straight up and down on the correct nib, not at a slant like the later M400 style.
