Here are two Limited Edition Professional Gear Slim (Sapporo) pens produced by Sailor for Hougado / Pen Gallery in Japan. Sailor have also produced some inks for Hougado, which are discussed here.

My two Hougado beauties (Clear Brown and Clear Green), which arrived on Friday:

The Green-Rhodium pen is my favourite - the EF nib is *perfect*! smile.gif

Very cool. I prefer the green/rhodium too... how about a picture with the caps posted?

I am still trying to get my hands on the "Deep" Pen Gallery inks.

Thanks,
Woody
Margana
Congratulations! A perfect nib is hard to find. Is that a true green or a blue green barrel?
Phthalo
I have the Deep Rust, Deep Moss and Uranari Green inks - the Deep inks are very deep indeed, while Uranari Green is a lovely subtle olive, darker and more readable than Herbin Vert Olive.

The pen is blue-green, probably best described as 'Emerald' - a lovely cool and crisp colour!

Indeed very yummy demonstrators Laura! Congratulations! I really love the emerald one with the rhodium trim

Very nice additions happyberet.gif

Wow, those are so unbelievably nice! Are there any ways that we can obtain these over the internet?

For those that can't navigate the website, there are clear, blue, red, green, and brown versions of these, with gold or rhodium trim. I'd say Phthalo's green with rhodium would be the best combination already though.
Phthalo
Not that I am aware of... a very kind friend who is currently staying in Japan ordered these on my behalf.

I wonder if all the new Pro Gears will have the single wide cap band... it is a pretty neat look!
Taki
What a beautiful pens, Laura! I like the green one better, too. Congratulations!!

I would love to see your Pro Gear/Sapporo series family photo smile.gif

You are just evil! crybaby.gif

oh well... I may get a trip to Dromgoole's soon. It won't be a nice shiny new Pro Gear I bring home but at least I'll be browsing a real pen store instead of staring at the computer screen.

Siv
I think I saw a clear one on that website too. These are really nice looking pens - I think I see a Pro Gear in my future...
Bananafish
These look very nice! I had the clear w/ silver trim version, but ended up giving it to my cousin who sent it to me in the first place. I had thought the clear one would look pretty and cool, but in real it didn’t looked anything I expected. It did perform as well as any other Sailor tho. Demos are not for me I suppose. But these colored versions look decidedly pretty; hope you enjoy them!

Actually, I never set out to collect them all - it just seems that I do. wink.gif

Real EF nibs are so few and far between... I like a bit of colour and the Pro Gear gives me that. However, I have no interest in owning the Spring Blue (I dislike blue) or Pink pens, for example - or collecting more sizes of my existing pens in the same colour.

At this point, I can safely say that there are no more Pro Gear pens that I would like to own. I so still wish that Sailor would make some kind of Olive Green / Khaki or Lime version... that would be perfect! smile.gif
chibimie
These are fabulous pens, Laura. happyberet.gif

I'm stuck far away from home where I left my camera battery, so I can't post a photo, but I have to say that the cobalt blue Pro Gear demonstrator with silver trim (that you alerted me to!) has become one of my favorite pens. And the nib is an unusual two-tone gold with an image of the globe and a heart on it, with the initials WPS (world peace satellite--not sure what the 'satellite' refers to).
Phthalo
You can have all the blue pens we find - I'll have the green ones. wink.gif

Is there someone in Japan who would be willing to buy one of these for me and ship it to the USA? The price is about $120 and I would be willing to offer say $20 for your trouble and I can PayPal you the funds in advance. I can't get this picture out of my head!!!! Please PM me if you're willing...

PS, not sure if it's rude to make these kind of suggestions here... if so, Mods, please remove this post.

So pretty! I don't want to by any more of these since I'm not sure if I'll use them or not. I've got so many uninked pens at this moment.
You can ask Ujuku to help. I'm very sure they can get it for you. http://ujuku.jpn.ph/KAIMONO/penframe.htm

I have asked Yamada-san so many questions about what pens he sells that he's probably tired of my endless nagging...
Dillo
He seems to be able to get anything it seems. Whatever I ordered from him I all got without any problems. I put my order in Japanese and pay in Paypal yen, but I don't know if that makes a difference.

But 120$, is that a Sapporo ? I've just sold mine, it's not in order to get another one biggrin.gif Does the ProGear version (full size) exists ?
Siv
It's a Pro gear slim (Sapporo). And it's sold out crybaby.gif crybaby.gif crybaby.gif
Phthalo
There is a full-size Cobalt Blue Pro Gear LE - chibimie mentioned it here on the previous page. Being an LE, the price was higher - in the range of the KAN etc. I think it was an edition of 25... not sure what the trim colour was.
