I am not into Pelikans, but sometimes you find something you really like and take a risk....
A few days ago I found a Pelikan 120. i would have given it a miss, but the pen has a simple and elegant beauty, and the nib
is a wonderful flex broadish(Pelikan medium I believe) one, and I had to had it... now I have researched a bit into the net, and have a few question.
This pen matches exactly with the descriptions and dimension of Pelikan 120 as given in www.ruettinger-web.de. Has so inscribed in the cap lip and the plastic of the cap. It is green in colour, is an earlier model.
My questions are
1. Is it right to find a 14k nib on a Pelikan120? Because this pen has a 14k flex nib. The nibs is fitted well, and doesnot look or feel like a mismatch.
2. Had there been any datecode in any of the Pelikan? Because the body is inscribed Q72R. What does it signify?
Any help appritiated.
Have a nice day.
