I read a members post some time ago who mentioned his favorite pen technician was someone capable of restoring iridium to nib tips. I thought I bookmarked his link, but I don't have it. Would anyone know who this meister is? Also, please feel free to share your favorite techs name and contact infomation. Thanks!

A search in the Repair Forum might help plus maybe re-post there also. Good luck.

I think retipping would be Greg Minuskin. Just google his name, should find his site.

Greg Minuskin without a doubt is who you should use. Retipped this vac nib and returned it in five days from the day I sent it to him (MN to CA and back), including communication when it got there and when he finished. Here are before and after pictures.

I am not affiliated with him in any way - just a satisfied customer.

Thanks for the help folks. Greg is who I was looking for. I remembered that he was a watch tech as well and it's one of the first things he mentions on his home page.
