I just though to widen the likelihood of someone who could actually help noticing it; if you have French in your head, please have a look at this thread in Repair. There's an explanation of the problem in French in post #13 which hopefully some usefully bilingual person will be able to unravel or lay out for us sad monoglot types.

edit: Of course, this would be more useful if I'd put in into the Writing Instruments forum as I'd meant to. glare.gif Mods, please help someone who's not only unilingual but also clumsy.

Hi Ernst,

Basically Cannot has a little problem with his Carene, when he writes with it the ink which is Watermans black looks more like grey, when he tries the same ink in another pen it writes black. He has tried everything and asks what he should try next I can do a verbatim if you need it. PM me and I'll let you have the verbatim.

Cheers, John

Sounds like he has some water in his Waterman Carene.

Very happy to say the Francophonie d'FPN has swung into action in Q&A, and things seem to be progressing. Good job, international pen freaks! thumbup.gif
