I don't actually live in Boston, but one place that I can't help but buying tons and tons of notebooks from is The Harvard Coop on Brattle St. in Cambridge. They have Clairefontaine, Rhodia, Apica, Red&Black, you name it, they probably have it on the second floor. cloud9.gif

I'm pretty sure that you don't have to be a member of the Coop (meaning Harvard student or alum) to purchase there, but since my mom's an alum I don't have first-hand knowledge of this. So, if you happen to be shopping in Harvard Square, remember the Coop! (No affiliation, just a very satisfied customer! Go Crimson!) biggrin.gif

I have ordered Amalfi from the above business. They are great!

oops!

Looks like they may be an internet-only business now. They were previously located in Faneuil Hall.

Ahhh! I just realized that I posted this in the wrong forum headsmack.gif My apologies to the mods. I guess it should go in Pen & Paper Paraphernalia, not the reviews section.

If you're in Harvard Square, my vote goes to Bob Slate, the main store at 1288 Mass Ave. I don't mean to dis the Harvard Coop, but Bob Slate has them beat by a mile - more paper, more journals, and their own pen counter with a pretty decent selection of FPs which they are very patient about letting you try. Also they stock all the major cartridges and inks.

The Coop has Apica? Even Bob Slate doesn't have Apica.
