Looking for info about this Sheaffer ballpoint and more important what type of refill it takes. Any help appreciated.

Hi,

That's a Balance II ballpoint, in Jade. Dates from the 1990s, I believe. And it uses a standard, current-production Sheaffer ballpoint refill.
