I own all of the Originals of Their Time series, but use only the Whitegold and the Toledo, preferring to use the real versions of the celluloid models.

But, I like these pens a lot. They feel very much like the real thing, with the exception of the nib which looks vintage but writes modern. The answer for me is to fit vintage nibs to these pens.

As far as other limiteds, I use regularly the green demonstrator, the tortoise M800 and the Blue Ocean, as well as a set of custom titanium M800s all of these with custom nibs since I am not a big fan of modern nibs. I also use regularly my M1050, more commonly known as the 75th Anniversary.

Hope this helps.

I guess the Citroenpers is an LE of sorts.

I haven't inked it yet. It's the only pen I've ever owned that I can't bring myself to ink.

They sure picked a nice green for that pen- it looks great.

Pelikan Lighthouse of Alexandria.
Yes, though it's a big pen, so I don't use it often.
Yes.

The 1935 LE (re-make of a 1935 model) looks very nice.
Have Fun

Funny you should say that The Citroenpers was my first taste of Pel Nibs & I thought it scraped a bit for an M nib especially compared to the Lamy medium - I then got a Pel 2000/3000 & this showed me what smooth should be on a Pelikan so I worked on smoothing the Citroenpers. Maybe you should take it for a dip, I don't think it would devalue the pen much.

I had the lapis 1935 OT for a long time, used it frequently, and loved it. Very, very well made (by Visconti, I believe; Rick can confirm) and a delight to use, even if the nib was a tad on the boring side. Best,

I own the Pelikan 1931 White Gold, Blue Ocean and Evolution of the Script. Love them all especially the whitegold and evolution of script.

Be careful with the black hard rubber of the pelikan 1931 white gold as it may discolour due to the light exposure. If not use, keep it in its box. Mine has gone a bit discoloured. Perhaps due to the light or heat (may be when the pen is kept in the shirt pocket during office hour).. crybaby.gif
