I have always been a fan of Tibaldi's and have been fortunate enough to acquire a Trasparente, Iride, Impero and two Modello 60's, blue/ivory and red. Today a quest came to an end. The dear folks at USPS brought me a package from a great west coast penman, lex.

Pretty pens! Thanks for the pictures. I wonder why a lot of the Italian pen manufactures have the barrel engraved or whatever. I've grown attached to it and like seeing it on this pen too. My Italian pen collection is growing bit by bit; I bought a Marlen Basilea and a Stipula Ventidue this year.

Congratulations. Those 2G Tibaldis are just about my favorite pens, and I adore the havana blue material. In fact, I'm working on obtaining a pen made of that very celluloid. Enjoy them! Best,
