Just received a lovely Visconti Honey Almond Opera. The only minor disappointment is that the nib was not duotone but all yellow gold (much like those new Van Gogh nibs). I thought I read somewhere that Visconti still retained the duotone nibs for the Honey Almond. Is that not the case?

Hmm...that's strange, my one has the dualtone nib...
I was under the impression that the Honey Almond was discontinued along with Typhoon Blue, someone else back me up on this?

It's discontinued. I don't have the pen, so I don't know what color nib it's supposed to have, but with gold trim, I think the gold nib would look better.

The duotone 14 kt gold nibs were produced years ago; then, all the 14 kt nibs were only white gold; and recently also "yellow" gold, for Ragtime
