The pen is custom made by David Broadwell. I think it is a stunning piece of art and needs to be shared by friends at FPN as well.
Enjoy...
Well, I've had this pen for a couple of weeks now... so it's about time I posted it for all to see! This is a one-off pen (in other words, it's the only one of its kind... made especially for me!) custom designed and hand made by David Broadwell.
The material is green and black swirled hard rubber (ebonite) with Damascus Steel trim. It is an eyedropper filler and holds plenty of ink with no leaks. It's a Bock nib, as you can probably tell, which is very smooth. It's a pen you'd only use unposted and the weight and balance are absolutely PERFECT for me. It's as if he had a cast of my hand right there with him. What a master craftsman! I have never even met him, but he designed it just by our telephone conversations. Fit and finish are superb. I cannot find any faults whatsoever. My husband even seems impressed... and he doesn't care one bit about pens.
I'm not the kind of person who can buy things like this every day... in fact, this is by far the most expensive pen I own. I saved for many months for this and even sold a few of my others in order to pay for it. But it was well worth it!
I'm no professional photographer, but I think these are pretty decent. You probably all know how much I like GREEN, so here's my very own green
pen...made especially for me!

<b>Thank you, David!
