Hi, i pen collecting Fountain for just about 1 a year now.
I have bought a few pen, and recently i come across Montegrappa pens. I found i really like the NeroUno desgin. So i was wondering if any 1 had any experenices with Montegrappa pens. I'm also open for suggesting on other brand pens around the same prices.
Thanks in advances

Hi. Hmmm, my post disappeared. I'll try again. I actually checked out a NeroUno in a pen store a few months ago, and I vaguely remember not liking something about it, even though I think it's a handsome pen. I believe I thought it should have a more solid feel to it. Maybe it felt a little fragile. Have you tried a search on FPN for Montegrappa? I've heard good things about them, and I'll bet you could get much more info with a search than I can provide. In any event, I wish you good luck in your search. thumbup.gif

Hi, I recently posted a thread about my Montegrappa experiences over here. I think the Nero Uno has the best QC out of all the modern Montegrappa pens. Mine, ahem, My boyfriend's one writes wonderfully smooth and it is an extra fine nib! Best of luck in your search.

Ummm... has the boyfriend ever had a chance to actually use "his" pen?

Your posts about this pen remind me of stories where a guy buys his girlfriend a chain saw for her birthday.....

He has, once or twice. I think. embarrassed_smile.gif

I really bought it for him as I think the NeroUno is very much a man's pen - looks great in the pocket of a suit, very impressive. But I can't help that I was intrigued by the completely different nib on this pen and that I, being the pen obsessed person I am, just had to try it! I bought it with a medium nib originally, thinking that he could use it for signing as well as jotting down some notes but then found it too wide (for my writing at least roflmho.gif ), so I got a nib exchange for an extra fine. He gets to touch the pen occasionally and asks to at least look at it whenever he comes over. lticaptd.gif
