Hi there. Does anyone have any more information on this product? I can't tell from the website (flash-based or I'd direct you straight to the pen itself), but the description makes it sound like it has a plastic nib (!?).

Does anyone here have any experience with such a nib, or with this pen in particular?

Thanks for any help. I'll be in Tokyo in a month, and plan to give this pen a try anyway, but I'd love to have an idea what to expect.

That looks like something that has been available for years... I remember this from school. It's like a felt tip pen but this a rigid plastic bit on the sides to keep the "nib" firm.

I think you might be right. Thanks for the link to that other thread, side-by-side, Item 20 could easily be an upscale version of the 'Fountain Pentel'.

Ugh, that's disappointing. Well, we'll see what the story is for sure when I check it out in person.
