I love the nib on my VP. Is it safe to expect the same writing experience with other Pilot fines?
Other Pilots I can compare to are a Pilot Elite and a Namiki Falcon. I'm considering some of the entry level Maki-E's.

The (Fine-ish) M on my VP matched the M on my Falcon, and the F's on my VPs match the F on my Pilot Ecrino. Plus, all four VP F's that I've used matched each other in line width, so I'm thinking that the answer to your question is probably "yes." It would be good to get nibmeister Richard Binder's opinion because he is also a Pilot/Namiki dealer and would have many data points (F, M, and B ).

The F on my VP is the same as the F on my Custom 74
The M on my Fermo is the same as the M on my Bamboo
You didn't ask about broads but it's worth noting that some Japanese pens, the broad is actually a stub. I have a broad VP (got it today so not yet inked) and it looks like a standard broadish nib, not a stub.

IME, yes, and I've used fines on a VP, a Decimo, a couple of Customs, and some Elites.

There were some minor size variations over the years. On the earlier Capless pens, nib assemblies marked 'F' were really more like 'XXF'. My first Vanishing Point came with an M nib, and it wrote like a Western M. But the F nibs in later VP's seem to be more aligned with the rest of Pilot F nibs.

Hi,
For some time, Pilot USA seems to have sold nibs that were marked a size smaller. (e.g. M nib in Japan was marked F here.)
They don't seem to that now though.
