Full Version: nib forum?

I'm wondering if there's enough interest in nib design to have a nib forum? Because woe is me, I find that I'm beginning to develop nib lust in addition to general FP lust... for example, I'm not going to be able to resist the Lamy Studio palladium much longer because I'm entranced with the nib -- the elegance of the pen design is carried through in the nib, I think it's gorgeous.

I can't find the thread of the person who won the MB Kafka pen (with the cockroach engraving on the nib) at an auction, but I can't get that design out of my head either -- and I'd also love to know how they like that pen!

I'd like to learn more about the various nib shapes and how that affects inked strokes, etc. And nuances about the characteristics of the different metals...

This is the beginning of yet another obsession, I can feel it in my bones...

I haven't been here long, but atm I am a bit obcessed by gold and white gold (perhaps SS) nibs. I love the combination as seen on some Duofold/Sonnet/Pelikans, etc...
