I try to rotate my pens and watches. I often feel a sense of regret in the pen (or watch) is working just fine -- just trying to get another into the rotation.

However, I try to use all pens during the course of the week even though there's been one I've carried for a couple/several days.

Warmly,

I had a similar experience a few weeks ago. I uninked some pens I had been carrying and inked some new pens. It felt like I was cheating.

I try to rotate on a regular basis, and use each pen for something at least once a week. But, in my case, with a collection of only 7 pens, that is pretty easy. I shudder to think about what I would do if I had more pens wink.gif

Do you mean retired permanently or just for rotation, Jeen?

All my pens know the score, fair is fair. They will all get their turn. I mean, how many can I write with at one time? biggrin.gif However, those that are not getting the attention they deserve are being added to the list of pens which I will find new owners for, and I break the news to them gently - usually involving one last writing session together using the ink they like best, then I tell them directly but nicely. So far, those affected have taken the news well. I will let you know if I get any cold shoulders in the future (not if I can help it). biggrin.gif
