I have thought about getting one of the PFM pens, but I like the leather look of the new Heritage. I know it is C/C instead of TD.

Here are some of the pens I have to base a comparison on: Waterman Carene (Medium), Bexley Submariner Grande (Fine and Stub), Aurora 88 (Italic), Omas Arco Paragon (Fine), Taccia Doric (Fine and Medium), Danitrio Densho Raw Ebonite (Stub), Danitrio Urushi Densho (semi-flex EF), Danitrio AlphaPlus (Medium), Namiki Vanishing Point (Italic), Pelikan Chicago (Italic), Sailor 1911 Professional Gear (Fine), Waterman Edson Sterling (Fine)

How does the Heritage compare with any of these (fine vs fine, stub vs stub, smoothness, flex (?), size, weight, etc)? Thanks for any insights.

Tim,
I don't have any of your pens with those nib choices!
But I do have the Legacy heritage with a MEDIUM nib.
The nib is wet and ultra smooth - as smooth as any I own.

As to size, it's a short but wide pen; think short stubby cigar.
Capped: 13.5cm, Posted: 14.5cm, and barrel and grip section: 1.0 cm
I always post this pen, and it fits me perfectly.
I'd offer some pics, but my wife borrowed the camera.

As to weight, that will depend on the particular finish.
I have the deep cut palladium, and that makes mine a heavy pen: 38 grams
with some ink in it.
I like some heavy pens in my rotation.

The c/c works really well and can be easily replaced if anything should go wrong with it.
It takes up a good amount of ink, although I've never measured it.
