Just nabbed it off eBay:

The lever doesn't look like the standard Waterman globe, looks a bit like that on a 94.

So 94?

I'll know for sure when I receive it in the mail, though.

It looks EXTREMELY similar to a couple of pens that I have...but apart from that I'm not sure. If it didn't have the box-lever, I would've said it looks like my Waterman 502.

Without a view of the clip I can't be sure; but if the clip has two holes in it as part of the design, then the pen is almost certainly a 3V.
DerMann
That may be problematic, Richard, as the description said the clip was missing. It looks like the bit of metal that held the clip on is still there, so that may be of help.

Just got it today.

Marked thorobred on the end of the body.

The cap has indeed been broken off at one point. The bit which attaches the clip to the top of the cap is still present, and it is probably steel with a hexagonal hole in the middle.

Nib is in good condition with a bit of flex. The lever is stuck and I can't seem to get the section off with mild amount of force. Into the ammonia it goes.

Am I wrong to assume this is one of Waterman's later pens?

*EDIT*

Just got the section open using hot water.

The sac was indeed petrified, however I was able to slide it out using a dental pick (lucky that it didn't fuse with the inside!). I found this rather interesting:

Guess that means a size 17 sac.

Also, part of the section is transparent, but it's only apparent when I hold it underwater, otherwise it looks pretty opaque.
