Full Version: Lamy 2000 nib... a tad too flexy?

I don't know if I'm definitely a nutjob or what, but I recently tried one white gold nibbed Lamy 2000 (M width) and I think that's a little too flexy, at least this nib has more flex than my previous Lamy 2000. I should add that all my other L2000 had yellow 14k nibs.

I feel lack of flow consistency (too dry when light pressure, too wet all of a sudden when you press it a little more... not enjoyable like a vintage full flex nib, I'm used to those and I can use them in everyday writing so I have a trained wrist for flex nibs) and it doesn't want to glide on certain type of papers on wich my pelikans just slide over like a charm.

Could this be a defective nib or...?

Hi,

Some of them are a bit flexible. I think it's more of a lucky draw thing.
