Hiya, I wonder if you can help, I have acquired this really nice pen but know nothing of its age or type, it has a plunger but is not as complex as a Snorkel, it has a Sack but no Lever, I have enclosed a picture taken whilst stripped down (pen not me!)When I re-sealed the sack to the centre section, any information most gratefully received. I realise it is probably a cheap FP but believe me when I say it feels great to use and it writes well to boot with I think a fine line!
I have checked numerous websites but cannot find any info,,,please help!

Thanks in advance
Spike

Your pen is an Imperial I (see it in my collection). There's an article about Imperials on Jim Mamoulides' PenHero.com site, and Jim discusses the Imperial I there.

Hi,

I have a similar pen, but it takes cartridges.

The Imperial I came in both cartridge only and Touchdown versions. The Touchdown version is unique in that it has no sac protector - it uses the barrel and has an odd size sac. The plunger is plastic, too.

Hey!, thanks guys, thats brilliant!, I now have a type and a date, I will now look out its partner the pencil.
Richard, I am so sorry, your site is one of my bookmarked sites but I still missed it?, more haste less speed! I think will be my motto for the day!

Thanks again.
