The pen in the picture is defenetly a Premier

Yes, this pen is a Premier - but the pen is not for sale. According to John Mottishaw it has the same nib feed and section as the late Parker 75 (and the nib feed and section are for sale, suitable for late 75's).

I would disagree. The 75 seems to have a white metal ring at the end of the section (steel, aluminium perhaps) with lines across it. This one has a thin gold ring. They seem to be different.

I won't argue...I'm no expert. But John's site at nibs.com says "Item # PL-883 is a Parker Premier Gold stripe, 14k F nib, made in France. This pen has the same nib feed and section as the late Parker 75." Perhaps he means that specific pen rather than Premiers in general. Interestingly I purchased a French 18K 75 nib and section (OBB) from John and exchanged it for the one in this pen, and both were identical (hence the sale).
Nevertheless perhaps it can go to a happy home on someone's Premier?

just a correction. if I am right

White metal ring are for the US made early P75
the later vision use a gold While the french made P75 use a gold one or a thin band shown about. Usually make on Nib as 18k french made.

The primer use a gold one like a P75 and also the thin band, after the P75 was later produce only in french. by then the section of a p75 with a big or thin gold band was use in the primer also then.........

I have not see a thin band with a usa mark on the nib.......
