Full Version: Question on Ebay seller

Looking at Ebay auctions for pens, a seller with the id sakura 9999 seems to have quite a few older MBs listed. Have any forum members dealt with him? If so can they comment, either here or, if they prefer, via PM?

Thanks in advance.

My advice is to stay away from her. She's bad news. Do a search on her in this forum and you'll get lots of hits (none complimentary, I might add).

Thanks for the answer. A search of FPN revealed several threads related to Sakura

I was looking at item 270244000305 but did not bid as I was not sure that the pen was authentic. BTW, what does CNN mean? WIll keep looking.

Does anyone know anything about this e-bay seller maite522 ??

Thanks
skma
I would say buying in the forum market place is a safer bet. Look for members with regular posts and comments. If the mods are having some to sell, then it's near 100% authentic for sure biggrin.gif

Trading on the internet, unfortunately, has always got its own risks, which are inherent to it.

Thanks, I'm new here ...I'm looking for a Meisterstuck 144 and the desk base. Is there a specific thread to go to post that? ...or do I just start a new thread? I belong to the Purse Forum and there are specific long standing thread for each type of requests and I don't see something like that on this forum. But then again I'm still trying to find my way around this one embarrassed_smile.gif

Phyl,

You can post a "want to buy" for this desk set in the Wanted To Buy: Pens, inks, etc. Subforum that you can find under the Classifieds and Market Watch Foum.

I nearly bought some stuff and then I remembered to check here and saved myself some big bucks. I complained to ebay specifically about shill bidding and whether the product was genuine or not and their answer was there was no shill bidding and nada about the other complaint. we then had a mutually agreed retraction of the transactin and I've left it at that. Did I do wrong now I wonder.

Was this transaction with sakura_9999?

Then I think you just dodged a bullet. I'm glad that you didn't lose money. Since you did not finish the transaction (i.e. didn't get what might have been the fake pen), then you really don't have a case for a negative feedback. The important thing is that you got your money back.
