I've posted endless "wants to buy" in various places, but there must be some better way to do it. To be specific, the parts I'm after are all Parker:

- A 51 cap jewel
- A 51 Aero mk 1 cap
- A 61 hood

One source quoted me a whopping £20 (=$40) for a single 51 cap, and almost as much for a hood. Can it be? That's almost 40% of the cost of a decent quality pen!

I doubt they'd be listed on the websites as cataloguing parts would be thankless. Is it possible that some repairman has a spare hood and a cap jewel in his bottom drawer?
I can offer tempting parts trades, I think...

I don't know about the UK, but I am sure you can do a lot better (even with customs fees) from Ernesto Soler at www.parker51.com for the 51 cap and jewels...
He does not list them on his parts page, but I have always been able to buy them from him and I doubt if shipping to the UK is going to be high for these items...

The only place I know of in the UK that sells parts is Penfriend http://www.penfriend.co.uk/html/p_spares.htm . I've not used them, and their web site doesn't give any indication that they're retail-mail order friendly.
The Worcester Pen Co sells new replacement P51 Cap Jewels http://www.worcesterpencompany.co.uk , but only in black.

When I needed a P51 hood, I got it from Ernesto and imported it from the US. I don't think you'll have much joy in getting a P61 hood.
