You would be surprised, a couple of years ago I had to complete a Diversity Training course via distance learning through our local university and I had to take a basic literacy test, when I questioned this as I thought somebody was having a joke, I was told that it wasn't unusual for applicants to have poor spelling/grammar. The level of questions surprised me as they were very basic English at a level most of us learnt by about the 3rd/4th form at secondary school, at least in the 70s when I was at school.
Andy
I am now very depressed. :-(

Right... I have seen many who has difficulty with grammar/spelling/punctuation despite having a 16 yrs education in English... (don't count me in it, English is basically my third language

)
Well,
you can spell 'punctuation' while that guy can't even spell words like 'interested' or 'apologise', which one uses all the time, so you're way ahead of him.
