I have a fabulous M1000 in black and green stripe with a broad nib but want some character to the nib. It produces a nice thick line but of course the nib is "rounded" and does not have as much line variation as I would like. Living in NZ we have no nibmeisters and I don't want to be without the pen for months. Any suggestions. I am even considering a trade for a smaller pen with a nice nib, itallic cursive-ish. I don't really know what impact different cuts of nibs have although stubs I do know.
I have several large pens so a smaller one even with a not so thick nib with flex etc is an option. Must be smooth though.
Anyone want to trade ?. The pen is pristine but without box. Anything considered.

My recommendation is to order a specialty nib from Richard Binder and he can send out the nib to you and you can swap it out yourself, if you have the money to buy another nib, this would be the best option I think.
